In the early 1980’s, OrthoMemphis created the “orthopaedic acute care clinic” concept in Memphis. Today, OrthoStat® offers orthopaedic services in a manner that provides rapid in-office care for patients’ acute orthopaedic needs. By staffing OrthoStat® with full-time orthopaedist Dr. Mike Heck, we can offer an appointment on the day of need in most urgent, acute cases. Another important benefit of this service is our staff surgeons now have additional slots in their schedules that were previously assigned for urgent care patients. This allows us to better serve your non-acute conditions with an assigned appointment slot.
In consideration of patient wait times, we ask that you call OrthoStat® at 901.261.STAT (7828) between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday to assure an assigned appointment slot and completion of the necessary referral. The last scheduled appointment is 3:30 p.m. each weekday. OrthoStat® is here to provide you with state-of-the-art, accessible care.
